Who we are
Mulueshet — Bego Adragot Derjit — is an Ethiopian charitable organisation. We work where the gap is widest: households that qualify for care but cannot pay the premium, the transport, or the prescription at the end of the visit. We close that gap directly, and we keep a public record of every birr.

Medication support
A diagnosis is not treatment. When a prescription falls outside what insurance covers, we fund the medication so the course is actually completed.
Dessie health centre
We are building a health centre in Dessie so that care exists where our beneficiaries live, not several hours away.

Identify beneficiaries
We work with kebele administrations and health offices to find households that qualify for support and verify need.

Fund coverage and medicine
We pay the insurance premium directly to the scheme and settle prescription costs with partner pharmacies.

Access care
Beneficiaries receive treatment at partner facilities and, increasingly, at our own health centre.

Strengthen the system
Surplus and designated funds are invested in facilities, equipment and staff so capacity grows with demand.
